SPL U19s: Celtic 1-2 Hearts

A late brace at Barrowfield was enough to see Hearts claim all three points in their
top of the table clash with Celtic, writes Cheryl Smith.

Winger Paul George gave the hoops the lead just after the half time break. The Irishman
scored with a sensational solo effort from the edge of the box.

Celtic looked comfortable as they tried to play the game out however a Callum Tapping
equaliser on the 80th minute rejuvenated Darren Murray's side.

The goal spurred on the men in maroon and five minutes later Callum Paterson headed home the winner.
George came agonisingly close to claiming a point for Celtic with the last kick of the match but
saw his effort slip past the post.

The game ended with Hearts victorious over John Kennedy and Tommy McIntyre's men.

The disappointing result for Celtic saw the home teams unbeaten run come to and end,
leaving them trailing the league leaders by ten points but with three games in hand.
