Battle weary Scotland edged out England with a late goal at a packed Toryglen.
The Scots faced the auld enemy in the final game of a tough European Championships, but ater a tough two weeks the usual zip and pace of their performances had been worn out of them.
However, in a game that was never short on commitment, Stuart Sharp’s men found a second wind to edge out their friends from south of the border late into the Glasgow night.

In the bowels of Rugby Park, Stephen Pressley was a beaten man after Falkirk failed to cling on to their Scottish Premier League status. Disconsolate, the ex-Scotland defender didn't mince his words when confronted by the media scrum.
Pride in the players, determined to take the club forward, the words were what you would expect by a man who was flanked by chairman Martin Ritchie and the rest of the board after relegating their club.
However, what the Bairns supporters probably did not expect was the words "Lets relax, lets enjoy it, lets look at the positives."
Yes, Stephen Pressley did reply with that line when asked if the criticism of Falkirk was over the top.

Raith Rovers finished off their return to Division One with a resounding 4-1 victory over Highlanders Ross County.
David Armstrong put the Rovers ahead after just four minutes while on-loan Terror, Johnny Russell completed the job with a well deserved hat-trick.
Scott Morrison fired in a superb free kick from 25 yards out, but his goal was nothing more than a consolation as County misfired at Starks Park in what will be their last competitive game before their cup final against Dundee United on 15th May.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle were crowned First Division champions on Wednesday evening without even kicking a ball.
Mathematically, Dundee could still have won the championship before the game, but a Dougie Hill goal on the 54th minute meant that Terry Butcher’s men could celebrate their return to the Scottish Premier League.
While the result was important for Inverness and their SPL ambitions, it also had huge significance for Raith Rovers and their bid for First Division security, stepping three points closer to survival.
