Euro 2013: Fay fearless ahead of Euro Clash with Wales
By ANDREW WINN
SCOTLAND women’s captain Gemma Fay is excited ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Women's Euro 2013 Qualifier against Wales.
Goalkeeper Fay, who looks set to win her 134th cap for the game at Tynecastle, told The Away End that there were no nerves ahead of the match.

“We’re really looking forward to it, really excited,” Fay announced. “We had a good result in Israel, hoping to carry that on into the Wales match.
“We’re not nervous; we’re excited going into any match. We know a lot of their players through playing in the FA Women's Super League; we’ve a few girls who play there too.
“We’ve played them a few times, we’ve seen a few videos, we played them in February too. So we have a good idea about their style of play, what their danger areas are and where we can exploit areas of the pitch for us.”
After failing to qualify for the Women’s World Cup this summer, Fay expressed the determination in the camp to reach the European Championships in Sweden in two years time.
“Our target is to qualify for 2013,” Fay explained. “Obviously France are the top seeds, but we take every group game at a time, always focusing on the next match.”
Scotland sit third in the table after a 6-1 win in Israel, whilst Wales head into the game looking to rectify two defeats so far in the group.
